Can you make my dream come true?

Some Aboriginals in Australia actually get offended when people refer to their spiritual experiences as part of “the dream time”, I have heard it is a mistranslation.
I think the same can be said about acting and actors.
The term is thrown around so often and is quite detached from what acting and living actually is.
Think about it, what did you dream of last? The last dream I had was of me catching up with a couple of high school friends and squirting each other with water pistols, the night before I dreamed of hamburglar robbing Mcdonalds with the Smiths Chips Gobble Doc.
Now am I going to dedicate my life to making those come true? Did they have such an astonishing effect on me that I’m going to shout it from the top of my lounges? Hardly.
Also we have no control over our dreams. We do however have control of targets. Seeing a goal as something physical and achievable is a better solution to getting what you want.
Like a dart board, we know how close we get to the bullseye, we can see it, we can see how much we put into it and we can see how close we get.
Bullseyes instead of fluffy clouds what do you think?
Interesting answers…

I usually dream about zombies…
I like fluffy.
If I had targeted that I should earn my living by being a Drama Consultant to schools, I’d have failed at the outset. There were too many such drama consultants already entrenched in the schools that were open to such drama consultants. I had as much chance as the proverbial snowflake in the hot place we call heck in polite society.
But I did have a dream.
I had a dream that some day, people in my home-town would ASK to be awoken through drama. It was an impossible dream. It was a fluffy dream, as fluffy as a dream can be. Awoken to what? I had no idea. Awoken through drama how? No idea.
But I held on to that fluffy, nebulous dream and did whatever I could to make it come true. I wandered into some dangerous paths, turned back from a lot of dead ends but I am now living my dream, which is still as fluffy as ever.
But at last, people are demanding and the goal is becoming clearer.
Had I focused on goals in my teens, I’d probably have been trying to get to whatever base with whichever teen queen.
